Independent Contractor -Integrated Systems Lead Assessor (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001)

This position is home based requiring extensive travel throughout Mexico

Responsible, dedicated Assessors like you help our clients to manage their systems and risks so they can improve their current and future performance.

About the role

You’ll perform business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, suspension or withdrawal of certification in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS 18001 management system standards. You will actively build strong external and internal client relationships. The outcome of your assessments will result in accurate, insightful reports that will be of real worth to our clients.

You will:

Have substantial experience in third party auditing/assessment to integrated management systems (ISO 14001, 9001, OHSAS18001) including system level auditing and process level auditing.
Be a registered Lead Auditor with IRCA or equivalent accredited body qualified for all 3 standards (9, 14, 18).
At least two year’s work experience in a role specifically related to managing environmental and safety impacts / aspects and compliance with environmental law and regulations. The work experience can be gained either in an industrial position, or as a regulator.
Have experience with a wide range of industry sectors.
Hold a degree (or equivalent qualification) BS Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related subject.
Fluent in both Spanish and English.
Possess a high standard of personal presentation, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a flexible attitude.
Have the ability to travel extensively throughout Mexico. Home base in the Mexico City area is an advantage.
You will be competent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
