LRQA is currently seeking Tutors to deliver Food Safety Management Systems training courses.

You will deliver training to our clients, in both open-enrolment and in-company classes, on the topics of management systems and auditing. The training is conducted according to a lesson plan and you will provide in-class evaluation and grade student examinations. This role is home based requiring extensive travel throughout the U.S. and possibly internationally.

You will have In-depth knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 and associated guidance (for example ISO 22002-1, ISO 22003 and ISO 22004), Codex Alimentarius HACCP principles and a working knowledge of their application in a variety of food industry sectors, including knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements, typically gained as a consultant implementing food safety management systems or as an auditor for a certification body or from second party audits.

You will have experience as a compensated, professional or corporate trainer and/or university-level professor or adjunct faculty.
Professional management systems auditor certification from an accredited body (IRCA, Exemplar Global), or meeting the requirements for such certification, is also required.
Teaching skills should include curricula development and student assessment, oral communication, writing and interpersonal skills, along with knowledge of diverse, constructive and effective teaching methods and group facilitation.
Computer literacy and the ability to assimilate new information technologies, as needed, along with familiarity teaching in eLearning and/or virtual training environments is preferred.
Familiarity with the use of accelerated or experiential, adult learning methods is welcome.
