The Computer Based Training (CBT) Manager for the Americas has the responsibility of managing required CBT related activities, like eLearning and blended learning options development, with autonomy over workload to meet business needs and ensure the best possible client experience. Undertakes a wide range of complex administrative activities and resolves complex queries to ensure CBT is delivered as planned. Provides overall technical support to internal and external clients to ensure CBT and training related systems deliver reliable outputs. May include delegation and monitoring of other’s work and crossed support to other areas within the organization.

Among the key responsibilities, the CBT Manager:

Oversees developing and develops original and innovative CBT courseware (eLearning and blended course materials) and multimedia products for public offer and under demand.
Provides experienced training-related support to clients enrolled in CBT using the LMS and other training related systems, improving client satisfaction.
Manages relationships with 3rd party suppliers, internal and external clients, related with CBT.
Resolves CBT related issues and interacts with other specialist employees and instructors to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application, ensuring the best possible client experience.
Provides technical CBT support to other business streams within the company.
Keeps an active administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and communicates with clients to ensure CBT client satisfaction and the integrity of the learning process.
Develops and maintains integration between the website and the Training Management System (TMS), including the training catalogue, client registration forms, payment gateway, contact forms, etc., ensuring the best possible client experience.
Ensures that all the software required to provide CBT performs according to the highest client expectations, the continuously-changing business requirements, and guarantees compliance with branding and other applicable policies.
Develops and maintains integration among TMS, LMS, CRM and other software related to CBT operations, ensuring the best possible internal/external client experience.
Researches, tests, selects, deploys and configures specialized software and systems that improve performance in CBT processes, incorporating innovative technologies to enhance CBT client’s experience.
Supports Marketing and Sales to improve client conversion based on digital content and portfolio.
Automates, implements and reports to the line manager, KPI’s related with CBT and the training business in general.
Conducts activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards.
Pursues Continuous Professional Development and maintains a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.

Key skills and experience:

Degree or professional qualification in a digital media or computing discipline preferred.
5 years of experience in instructional design or learning architecture and eLearning development, with emphasis in interactive learning solutions, blended delivery, multimedia and gamification.
Experience in software programming, systems management (training management systems and learning management systems), web design, digital marketing and technical support related activities is desirable.
Demonstrable experience in project management and successful completion of CBT related projects.
Basic knowledge in pedagogy/andragogy and medium understanding of the learning principles behind CBT.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, trilingual (Portuguese) a plus.
Relationship builder who pro-actively networks to add key relationships internally and externally in a multi-cultural/multi-language environment.
Demonstrates excellent people skills and promotes team work.
Ability to understand and assess complex and unfamiliar situations, visualize solutions and see through to resolution.
Creative and with a strong desire for innovation.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop strategic action plans based on input from others.
Ability to motivate and direct colleagues to achieve business objectives.
